The Emergency Preparedness Planning Task Force is the vehicle in which town citizens can become involved in the municipal emergency planning process. The EPPTF is currently in the foundational stages, with applications being accepted between February 21st and March 14th, 2019. After the application process closes out, EM and Town Staff will review the applications and recommend appointment to the Task Force for the selected citizens. Selection is based on applicant knowledge, skill, and ability in the topics of emergency management, strategic planning, preparedness methodology, and the role of local government in disasters.
