Beach Access Walkway Info from CAMA

I sent an email earlier this morning to a resident in NTB who was requesting authorization to extend his beach access walkway seaward of the recently pushed beach berm. In that email I simplified our justification for limiting beach access walkways a distance no further oceanward than the toe of the existing frontal dune (not new berm). I’m sure as more of these areas are pushed property owners are going to be contacting us all about extension request and there is no mechanism in our Rules that would allow for these extensions. Until the new beach berm obtains characteristics of a “frontal dune”, they will need to stop their walkways short (landward) of the pushed berm and walk over it by foot.
