INVITATION TO BID

On behalf of the Town of Surf City, Sealed proposals for the project titled Earl G. and Inez Batts Recreation Complex will be received by The Town of Surf City from qualified bidders, located at Town of Surf City Town Hall located at 214 W. Florence Way, Surf City Municipal Complex, Hampstead NC 28443 on or before October 31, 2023 @ 2:00PM. After the bids have been received, they are to be opened and read aloud at for the furnishing of labor, material, and equipment for the construction of the Earl G. and Inez Batts Recreation Complex as prescribed in the bid package. Bids will be received for a single prime contract only. All proposals shall be lump sum.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held @10:00AM at the Town of Surf City Town Hall located at 214 W. Florence Way, Surf City Municipal Complex, Hampstead NC 28443 local time on September 28, 2023. Interested parties are invited to attend this meeting to discuss the plans, ask for additional information or clarification on the bid package. At the conclusion of the meeting attendees will be invited to attend a site walk.

McAdams Company, Inc. via Sharefile, beginning on September 18, 2023 Please contact Jess Phair at phair@mcadamsco.com to obtain a link to the bid package. Questions or clarifications on the bid package will be received up to 5:00PM on October 20, 2023.

The Town of Surf City reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals.
